All the phones that are missing to update to Android 11

Although the latest version of Android was made official almost a year ago, many users are still waiting for their smartphone to receive Android 11. Currently most of those that were going to update have already done so, but there are still some laggards in several brands.

In case you are one of them, you are about to know if your terminal is one of those that is going to be updated or, however, you are going to find yourself facing an outdated terminal. As much for the security of the system, the changes in privacy or the improvements of Android 11, it is important that our mobile is updated to the latest version of Android and if it does not, we will soon have an “obsolete” mobile in our hands.

Samsung phones that need to be updated

The manufacturer Samsung has put a lot of emphasis on updates, improving the waiting times of many of its terminals. This, however, does not save you from still having models pending to be updated, which at least anticipate the date on which they will be able to make the leap to Android 11, in this case together with One UI 3.

  • Galaxy A10 – A10s (August 2021)
  • Galaxy A20 – A20s (August 2021)
  • Galaxy A30S (August 2021)

OnePlus models that don’t have Android 11

On the other hand, although OnePlus has been slow in its update plan, now a year later most of its models eligible to have Android 11, already have the update. The only ones forgotten in discord are the OnePlus 6 and the OnePlus 6T model, which due to various failures linked to OxygenOS have suffered many delays.

OPPO phones that will have Android 11

After having updated the high-end, for several months the deployment of the mid-range of OPPO continues. In this case, the process has begun for practically all those eligible and it only remains to start on the OPPO A5 and OPPO A9 2020. They will receive the update to Android 11 and ColorOS 11 in the coming weeks.

The forgotten ones of Realme, to date

One of the negative surprises in terms of the updates we take with Realme, as the manufacturer continues to drag delays in the update for terminals as important as the Realme X2 Pro, which is now beginning to show signs of receiving Android 11. But to turn there are other models that still do not even have an expected date.

The peculiarity of Huawei

On the part of Huawei terminals, the update to Android 11 will not occur now or in the future. The terminals that came on the market in recent months did so with Android 10 and EMUI 11, but we cannot expect Android 11 to be a reality. Instead, we would have to worry about HarmonyOS, the new operating system that is about to reach more countries.

Xiaomi has updated them all

One of the brands that better and faster has updated its terminals to the latest version of Android is Xiaomi, which has fulfilled its plans. This leaves us with all the expected terminals with Android 11 and therefore users only have to wait for MIUI 12.5, the solution to all the failures of MIUI 12.

Motorola and its updates

The Motorola update system has run like wildfire and we are faced with a list of smartphones without updating to Android 11 very scarce. Only the Motorola Moto G9 and the Moto G9 Play version still do not see an update in Spain, but it has begun to reach other corners of the planet.

Those who are missing to have Android 11 in Nokia

The saddest side of the coin is in Nokia, because the manufacturer despite having Android 11 practically in its stock version, still has some smartphones without updating. We hope that the system will quickly accelerate and we can eliminate smartphones from the list, at least we know that sooner or later the update will arrive.
