It has been two years since we met the first 108-megapixel camera phone on the market, the Mi Note 10, and it is time we met its successor soon. In fact, we are already learning interesting information about what could become the Xiaomi Mi Note 11, of which we already know what its new processor will be.
This new model could arrive at the end of the year, along with another Pro variant that would obviously have more power thanks to a more powerful processor. But this standard model is certainly going to be a powerful terminal as well, as the new rumors show.
Will debut a new Snapdragon
The Chinese firm works on both the Xiaomi CC 11 and the CC 11 Pro, and as you know, two years ago the CC 9 became the Note 10 globally, also in Spain. Therefore, it is to be expected that this model will follow the same trajectory of its predecessor. Although it must be said that in this case there is always the possibility that the Chinese firm will change its mind and launch it with a name and within a totally different range, it would not be the first time. But in this case, if we take it as such, the rumors that come to us from China make perfect sense.
In the Weibo social network, it has been known that the Xiaomi CC 11 will have a Snapdragon 778G or 780G processor, undoubtedly two of the most powerful mid-range processors from the manufacturer on the market. Recall that the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 had a Snapdragon 730G obviously much less powerful. So, we can expect a standard version with a lot of travel and power, although it will also stand out in other respects like its predecessor, in this case the camera.
There will be no 200-megapixel camera
This phone should arrive with the new 200-megapixel sensor that is being rumored in recent weeks. But it seems that this year the Chinese firm has other plans for this model, and they would not go through equipping it with the largest sensor as it happened with its predecessor.
In its place we would have a triple camera, with a 64-megapixel main sensor accompanied by a telephoto lens and another sensor. There would also be a 90Hz OLED screen. In the case of the Pro model, a camera is expected that will incorporate a periscope sensor with 5x optical zoom. However, the 200-megapixel sensor is expected for the new Xiaomi Mi 12, which would hit the market later this year, surely in the last days of December.
